Best YouTube Video about Cold Fusion Energy - A Short Review

Cold fusion has sparked a lot of controversy in the scientific world for decades now. The best YouTube video about cold fusion explains it in details and provides answers to all the questions one has in mind.

The video begins with
an account from “The Mysterious Islands” by Jules Verne in which he has mentioned his dream for the future. Water will be the coal of tomorrow; a source of heat for everyone when coal deposits are exhausted. The video explains cold fusion reaction using heavy water (deuterium oxide) as a source of massive energy, which is beyond the imagination of any physicist. Over the years, scientists could not explain the phenomenon resulting in such huge amounts of heat energy until now.

In the past wars have
been fought over coal and crude oil being a major source of energy. Today we spend more than 2000 barrels of oil per second, and the rate of consumption is still growing as more and more countries worldwide head towards development. As development continues, more air pollution is inevitable and this has irreversible consequences on our environment. The present global warming is one of the outcomes of high rates of environmental pollution.

In search of ways to replace the modern industrialization as an effort to control the pollution and undo the damage, other means of sourcing energy have been designed. Solar energy and wind energy had been devised as inexhaustible and pure energy sources with no pollution. However the setback with them is that they cannot work in different locations and weather conditions. This is why the need for an ultimate source of energy is important. Nickel Hydrogen fusion is the solution to this need and is coming in the form of LENR and E-Cat devices.

In 1989 two scientists made an announcement in a news conference about their discovery of a simple system which produced pure and high amounts of energy. Stanley Pons of the university of Utah and Martin Fleishmann of Britain’s University of Southampton worked together on this. They explained their discovery which was an inexhaustible source of energy in a simple electrochemical cell. Palladium was used as the electrode in experiments. It worked on the same principles as nuclear fusion techniques. They mentioned that the nuclear like reaction (Nickel Hydrogen fusion) emitted no hazardous radiations and was perfectly pure and safe. It involved Hydrogen and oxygen atoms (most reactive elements on earth) which fused together at close to room temperature and yielded massive heat energy and deadly radiations. If this was true, Stanley Pons and Martin Fleishmann should have been affected by the radiations.

However, this new discovery died down with no progress. In this video, James Doohan (Scotty in Star Trek) is also seen as a co-commentator. This gives it a completely captivating effect. He talks about how scientists have been working to explain cold fusion as means of making fire from water. The video explains why cold fusion seems impossible. This is because for two positively charged atomic nuclei to fuse there is need for extremely high temperatures, unlike in cold fusion. In fact it is considered to be next to impossible, because hypothetically speaking it will cause a very big reaction. Cold fusion goes against the teachings of nuclear physics. This is why scientists revoked Martin Fleishmann and Stanley Pons bitterly as not many could reconstruct the experiment. The video has accounts from other scientists who succeeded in reconstructing the experiment is different universities around the world, even in India and Japan. Such scientists had to face consequences of making allegations which went against the teachings of nuclear physics. This perhaps why the video is titles “War on Cold Fusion – The Hidden Truth Exposed”. Francesco Piantelli was one of the scientists who had first begun the concept of cold fusion. Andrea Rossi and Sergio Focardi have simply taken his work further.

Electric power research institute, Stanford Research Institute (SRI international), CERN Laboratory conducted more experiments and funded more research to help in developing this phenomenon. By 1999 many scientific conferences held around the world, as shown in the video. However there is still a lot of controversy over the proof that cold fusion is possible and a reality.

Although the video is very explicit with interviews of real scientist working on cold fusion, it could have been shorter than an hour and nine minutes. In the end there was still no final explanation of the phenomenon in cold fusion. However, it did prove that cold fusion is not a nuclear reaction and production of cold fusion devices (LENR and E-Cat) is in process. Ampenergo is a US company which has signed a contract with Andrea Rossi to produce LENR and E-Cat at a commercial scale.
Overall, it definitely deserves the title of the
“Best YouTube Video about Cold Fusion Energy”. It does prove that fire from water exists. Here are other links you can click on to watch the videos on cold fusion:
